Whether you’re looking for lessons or music productions services, I have a simple process that helps ensure we’re a good fit for each other.

First Step: Book a Discovery Call

Book a time for a free Discovery Call with me on Zoom. We’ll use this 15-30 minute meeting to discuss your goals, project(s), and/or challenges. I will then give you some ideas about how I can help meet your unique needs. This initial call helps the two of us understand each other – bring your questions and your ideas! The Discovery Call is not a formal session with me.

Singers, I won’t ask you to sing during this session, but you can if you want to! Composers-in-training, while not required, I would love to hear something that you’ve written — even if it’s not done yet.

If you’re looking for music production services, have your materials for your project on hand – reference tracks, MIDI, music scores, demo recordings, etc. If you are starting from scratch and do not have any materials, that’s ok too.

Based on our conversation during the Discovery Call, I will provide a proposal that covers the services I will provide, an estimated timeline, and cost. Timeline and cost are predicated on what I am starting with and your needs.

Lessons & Coaching

I will send a link to book an Initial Fit Meeting. We’ll sing, review your compositions/songs, and/or take a deeper dive into your needs. What we do in this session is customized based on our conversation during the Discovery Call. This meeting typically lasts 45 – 60 minutes and is tailored to your needs as I understand them from the Discovery Call. Towards the end of the meeting, we will also discuss the different ways we can work together through my lesson packages and engagements. Consider this lessons a “mini session” with me as I typically offer feedback, advice, and/or some coaching as we look at your needs. Because of this, the Initial Fit Meeting is offered at a discount from standard hourly rate. Check my rate sheet for the current price.

Shortly after we meet – often the same day – I will email you a proposal that outlines my understanding of your goals and objectives and a plan for how we’ll begin work together. The plan may include things like links to music or materials to purchase before we start, resources that I can provide, session/lesson structure, timelines, and/or options about engagements. The proposal will be custom to your objectives so the actual contents may vary from this list. Once you accept the proposal, I will set you up on my studio calendar.
