Celestial Swirls
The bones of Celestial Swirls began awhile ago. I was playing around with the (then) latest Vaults freebie instrument from Crow Hill just to see what it would do. Crow Hill doesn’t keep their Vaults instruments active forever, so the Celestatone now lives in their archive. If you’re a music producer looking for quality sounds that don’t cost a lot (or in this case nothing), go visit the Vaults page. I have loved every single sound they’ve created! Like many of my songs, this one lived in a work-in-progress folder for quite awhile. I park songs there that have some potential, but I’m not sure what I want to do with them. Sometimes, they eventually get moved to my Graveyard folder. Occassionally, after not looking at them, I figure out what they want to be.
During my experiment with Celestatone, I had no idea that it would eventually end up as part of my World Fusion set with Skyward Journey, Koko Kaper, Summit Whispers, and Rain Dance. I discovered a pretty Japanese flute sample that I chopped up and restructured. I then layered in African drums for rhythm. This one really is a mish-mosh of cultures and synth instruments!

Check out my other arrangements and compositions. My library grows every month and now has a variety of styles. Besides world fusion instrumentals, it features electronic music, pop, and a few arrangements of old hymns and carols.
