I loved creating this song. It started with me chopping up and resampling a funky bass line and it just grew from there. I didn’t actually see that new bass line becoming the basis for something creepy, but here we are! I ended up using Output’s Arcade for most of what I wrote. Those high-pitched voices at the end grew out of the chord progression I wrote – I discovered that the Arcade instrument I used for the chords contained that sound for higher registers, so I isolated the sounds and used them. I hope you like the song as much as I liked making it!
