Lo, How a Rose
Hot on the heels of “What Child is This”, I also arranged “Lo, How a Rose”. Based on the traditional German Christmas Carol by Michael Praetorius, I opted to keep this one as an instrumental. I loved this song the first time I sang it for a High School Christmas Concert. As a church musician, I have had the pleasure of singing it many more times – it never gets old! One of these days, I will create a vocal arrangement for this one, but for now, I’m happy to have it join my Fantasy Christmas album.
This Christmas season, I’m dropping several new songs. This one’s my second one. It joins Coventry Carol and In the Bleak Midwinter on my growing roster of Christmas arrangements. It also joins Prospect on my list of hymns. I’m thinking about ways to expand that list of hymns in the new year.

Check out my other arrangements and compositions. My library grows every month and now has a variety of styles. Besides world fusion instrumentals, it features electronic music, pop, and a few arrangements of old hymns and carols.
