God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
After arranging “What Child is This” and “Lo, How a Rose”, I took on “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”. This one felt more challenging than the others. I wanted to stick to with a fantasy theme while making it stand out from the many other (excellent) arrangements of this Christmas carol. The result definitely pushes towards the weird end of the spectrum, but I’m happy with the swirly, mysterious vibe of the piece.
This Christmas season, I’m dropping several new songs. This one’s my third one. It joins Coventry Carol and In the Bleak Midwinter from last year’s Christmas arrangements. It also joins Prospect on my list of hymns. I’m planning to expand my catalog of hymn and traditional song arrangements. Stay tuned!

Check out my other arrangements and compositions. My library grows every month and now has a variety of styles. Besides world fusion instrumentals, it features electronic music, pop, and a few arrangements of old hymns and carols.
